Add your own duck.

Give any rubber duck a code, write the code on it, and hide it somewhere. From then on, whoever finds it logs where it goes, and you can follow it here.

  • A code no other duck has. Five characters, issued by us, yours the moment you ask.
  • A page of its own. Every place it has turned up, drawn as a line across the globe, with the miles counted up.
  • An email every time it's found. Whoever finds it logs where, and often leaves a note.

  1. Get its code. One button. Nothing to fill in.
  2. Put the code on the duck. Print the label, or write it on the belly with a permanent marker. Either works.
  3. Hide it somewhere. A park bench, a café windowsill, a hotel lobby. Then say where you left it and give it a name. It's on the map from then on.
