QuackTrack.

Add a duck of your own.

It doesn't have to be one of ours. Any rubber duck will do — the one on your bath shelf, the one you won at a fair, the one that's been in a drawer since 2015.

  1. We give it a code. Five characters, issued by us so no two ducks in the world share one. You don't pick it — the code has to come from the register, or someone else's duck ends up wearing yours.
  2. You put the code on the duck. Print the label we'll give you, or write it on the belly in permanent marker. Both work. The QR is the quick way in; the five characters underneath are what still works once a bath has had its way with the ink.
  3. Leave it somewhere. A park bench, a café windowsill, a hotel lobby. Say where you left it, give it a name, and it's on the map.

Nothing to sign up for. A duck stays invisible until someone says where it's been, so an unused code costs nobody anything.
